remember me?!?!?!

Umm well hullo there (?!!) I am beyond apologetic for my leave of absence from this blog, but of course work must come first, however I plan on doing some updates soon, when I am not drowning in History of Art essays and coursework. Still here, don't y'all forget me!

College life

As always, I feel I must apologise for never posting on this old thing anymore, but please know that I still love doing so when I have something to say or if I have done anything of interest or culturally relevant. However, this is not really very often now I am at college, as most of my time is spent hanging out there, usually outside Starbucks, drowning in a sea of Marlboro Gold smoke from the entire student population. But obviously, college is the best, and I swear, I do go to a 'real' school. It's not not an Art college, but I promise I learn things about stuff! Due to my lack of updates on all things interesting, I guess I will just post the trailer for the new Wes Anderson film, which I am obviously too excited for. SO. EXCITED.

Blue Jasmine

This weekend, I saw the newest Woody Allen film. Unlike most people, I adored his latest films, including 'To Rome With Love', but I have to say that 'Blue Jasmine' is probably one of the best I have seen in a while. Obviously, he is one of the most iconic film makers alive, but what made this so fab was that it is essentially based on the play I am currently studying at college, A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams. Despite the fact it is denied that he based the film on this play, it's blatantly a fact, and I adore both of them if I'm honest. Cate Blanchett gave an astounding performance as a woman descending into insanity after living a life of luxury that went wrong, almost identical to the character of Blanche DuBois created by T. Williams. Sally Hawkins was also just marvellous as the younger adopted sister, almost the opposite of Blanchett's role, a loveable character similar to Blanche's sister, Stella. But I don't want to just give away the whole plot of the film and the play, so I deffo recommend that you see/read them, and if you haven't already, please watch the film version of A Streetcar because Marlon Brando as Stanley was literally one of the most attractive male roles in any film ever made. Real talk.

Marlon Brando, you absolute SPICE

*SWOON*

9 out of 5 for my judgement of Brando's beauty. Gotta keep it even.

Before I love you and leave you, please watch this funky fresh video starring the beautiful Angelica. LOOK AT HER. WHY CAN I NOT BE THIS GROOVY.

Birthday Blues

Last week I turned 17, which is such a peculiar thought as I still watch Lizzie McGuire and will openly admit I still buy children's hair accessories... and clothing... BUT anywho, here is a compilation of photos that are partially related to my birthday/have no connection whatsoever. So yup.

New items for the wardrobe. Hnnnggfff.

And seeing as I have nothing interesting or cultural to tell you about, here's my wish list. Let us pray that mother will approve...

Well, that's all for now, kiddies...

Back to my roots

As we all know, I am a big fan of dying my hair, and every time I go back to Bleach London. Earlier in summer, I took part in a photo shoot for them, and here is the picture they used in their countdown to the release of their latest products!

WAHAY!
