Start of Summer

Despite already posting pictures of my new hair, I thought I might as well show you all the photos I took during the dying process and of the final result. There are also a few other photos from my little weekend away in Cornwall with my buddies.

Beth looking adorbs.

FIERCE.
jk.

This is from the bike ride Sassy G and I went on in Cornwall.
Yes, we are a 70 year old couple.

Latest news - Beth got her belly button pierced today! She looks rad.

Today I went to Oxford Street with a couple friends and bought some plain black tops from Topshop, one cropped black tee and the other was cropped black lace. Pictures will probs be up soon, but before I bounce, here are the shoes I bought...

That's me done for the day.
Will report back soon with more summer shenanigans.

Nose piercing and wot

Today, I got my nose pierced! Mega lol, they didn't ask for an ID, as I am in Newquay after all, but hey ho, they did it and I love it! It was pretty 'spur of the moment' and I was shakin' in ma boots (creepers) as my parents were not aware of what was going on, but it was too funny to be worried and they liked it in the end. Ka-ching. After, my friends and I were denied tickets to a film with a 15 age certificate, so we saw Spiderman instead, which I have admittedly already seen, but I can't get enough of that Andrew Garfield. And Emma Stone. No homo.

Didn't feel badass enough after the piercing, so I got a tattoo of Eminem. #thuglyf

P.S THIS IS MY 200TH POST!
HERE IS A PICTURE OF A DOG WITH EYEBROWS.

Welchy

Summer 2K12 has arrived yo. My first big event was getting my hair dyed lilac with my buddy, Beth, at Bleach. It was planned that I was going to leave the undercut plain, but oh no, I decided as a spur of the moment thang that I would get zebra print dyed on it. J4J. Mother wasn't totally pleased, but #yolo.

Another plus side to this is that I have a ghetto ass nick name now - grape juice.
From this, the even newer and badass-er nickname was born - Welchy.
Don't be jel. (Be reem) (lol) (*cringe*)...

Currently, I am blogging from my house in Cornwall, chillin' with some weirdos, who I call my bessums. For essums.

Check out our funkalish outfits for the journey. Quality photogs, Mother. Note the flip flops/jelly sandals/super jew tee/Israeli trousers combo. Yeyer.

Carrying on the music theme, if you have not downloaded Frank Ocean's new album, 'Channel Orange', I am sending you a slap via the internet. Buy it. NOW.

These are a couple of my favourite tracks, but let's be honest, it's all pure gold.

Calm before the storm...

...and by storm, I mean my Die Antwoord concert post. And the ridic rain in London at the mo. Please bare with my tardiness, as soon as my Kodak from the concert has been developed I will do a juicy post. In the mean time, I will just say that my friend, Tom, and I sweated like pigs and had a gnarly night. Honestly, the most nerve racking part was my expectations for the audience, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that everyone was either quirky/outlandish, yet not intimidating, or middle aged and hilarious. Shout out to that one girl off who was her face making fights with the men. Made the night poifect, in my opinion. The actual performance was off the chizzle. Some one told me they were not known for being great live, but I had the time of my life and I need to thank Tom, yet again, for letting me go on his shoulders for the majority of the concert. Here is his blog http://blaze-that-haze.tumblr.com/. Whatta don.

Independence and stuff

Happy 4th of July! Thought it was the 3rd for the majority of today, so yeah. This is very irrelevant to what I have to say, but I couldn't think of a title, but this is my blog so deal with it.

Right now, I wish I was on the Rookie Road Trip and I thought I would tell y'all about it because I often mention my adoration for the online magazine, Rookie Mag, on here. The gang have all been blogging and instagram-ing which makes me feel like I am there in spirit. The Urban Outfitters blog has rad documentation of all the events they have been to and the states they have visited. Tavi is probably the most well known member of the Rookie gang, but I have discovered a new fave, called Petra Collins. She is an 18 year old photographer, and I urge you to check out her work here and here. It's all so ethereal and she's gnraly and urgh I wish I was her. #whitegirlproblems

Oh, by the way, I am going to the Die Antwoord concert tomorrow night! Must admit, I am slightly terrified as I am sure the majority of their fans are druggies/mental but hey ho, it will be a laugh and I am sure I will have some stories to tell...
